Mike Sandberg, co-owner and President of Texas Sounds, has been a talent agent for nearly 30 years. He also manages country legend, Johnny Lee, and exclusively books many of the popular acts on the area.

He serves as the agent for many of the Fairs and Festivals throughout Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Louisiana, as well as providing talent for clubs and corporate events throughout the US, as well as Europe.

Professional Musician, Songwriter, Music Producer, Publisher, Talent Manager, Television Producer

Mike Black has been a prolific musician and songwriter since 1976. By the mid 1980s, Mike and his band, Rollin' Cross Texas , played venues from Georgia to California and Las Vegas, but his mainstay was playing in towns throughout his home state of Texas. Over the course of 20 years, he recorded five albums and performed as many as 250 events per year. Being booked for years by Texas Sounds Entertainment , he became known as The Road King and working-est act in Texas. Mike Black was a paid and published songwriter for various publishing companies and continues that endevor, owning three music publishing companies. In 1989 Mike won the prestigious Texas Rising Star Award , recognizing his talent and popularity as a musician and performing artist. He has been recognized by the American and British Country Music Association (CMA) and is a voting member of the CMA . In addition, he has worked as Music Producer, Manager, Agent and has been involved as a Television Producer for the TV program “Sounds Like Texas”. Contact Mike Here


Leo D. Wheeler brings over 29 years of entertainment experience to the Texas Sounds team. He is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. in Communications specializing in television. He currently served as executive producer for the soundtrack to the feature film “Domain of the Damned” and is the manager for the rock group Revolution. To his credit is a strong theatre background in which he starred in the 1960 Playhouse rendition of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.” Leo has strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, along with a solid vision for how Texas Sounds will continue to impact the music entertainment world.
