Fond hails from Dripping Springs, Texas, a small town just outside Austin. He's resided in many different places in the United States, though. He once had been the lead guitar player for Radio Flyer during his Colorado days. While residing in Florida, he fronted the power blues trio, Jocko Graves, playing shows with B.B. King, Robert Cray, Little Feat, and performing at the Jacksonville Jazz Festival. A multi-instrumentalist, he has focused more on his strong suit of writing songs. His murderous lyrics and story line twists born of neurotic suffering, corruption, and shallow tragic personalities, give you a very unique package.
He has written songs for Ford Motor Company, Nissan, Dodge, Winn-Dixie, and PBS. His original music has had airplay on XM radio's Folk Village and Outlaw Country, United States Armed Forces Radio, and a few local stations around Texas and the U.S. He's a nostalgia-minded-iconoclast-biker-farmboy who understands Bob Newhart, seek slices of the past in the roadhouses that remain, and has a fueled demand for truth in contemporary society.
