| Johnny
Lee was born in Texas City and raised in Alta Loma, a
rural area in southeast Texas. He was athletically inclined
in Jr. and Sr. High School and played most of the sports offered.
At the same time, he was drawn to music and formed his first
band "Johnny Lee & The Road Runners". They entertained
their friends as well as most of the kids in the surrounding
towns at school dances and proms. |
| Following
High School, Johnny enlisted in the US Navy with hopes of
seeing the world outside of Texas. Upon his discharge, he
returned to his roots where he met and became friends with
Mickey Gilley. From this relationship, Johnny became the
House Band at what was to become a world-known name......Gilley's. |
| With
the release of the movie "URBAN COWBOY", Johnny found
fame of his own and began to tour not only Texas, but the
world. Johnny was featured in two other movies as well as
videos, radio, and television appearances. |
| Johnny
has an all new show which still features the audience favorites
such as "Lookin' for Love", but now includes material
from one of two CD's which will be released soon; "Live
At Billy Bob's" and "yet to be titled" which includes
all new material as well as a duet with Lane Brody |
| After
all this time, Johnny still loves performing......and it shows....
In the response from the audience and his smiling face on
stage, he forms a bond with the crowd and makes each show
an event! |
| With
minimal rider requirements and a reasonable price tag, Johnny
Lee still brings excitement to the audience each time he steps
on stage! |
